Terms of service.
At Texture Beauty Bar, we strive to provide an exceptional salon experience for all our guests. To ensure the smooth operation of our salon and the satisfaction of our guests, we have established the following policies:
Appointment Policy:
1. Appointments are reserved with a 50% deposit of the service fee.
2. The duration of the standard listed service time and prices may vary dependent upon each guest's unique hair characteristics.
3. Children are not allowed at the salon, unless being serviced.
4. Children receiving services must be able to sit on their own quietly, in cooperation with their stylist and must be accompanied by an adult.
5. Guests that are not being serviced are not permitted.
6. Generally, all services are provided by appointment. It is up to the stylist or the scheduler to determine if a walk-in can be accommodated.
7. If you are feeling unwell or experiencing symptoms of illness, please reschedule your appointment for a later date.
8. Thermal styling has the potential to alter natural curl patterns.
9. Please review the service menu’s written descriptions and associated reference photos before booking a service. This help to ensure that the time needed for your service fits the time block scheduled. Scheduling a service that does not match the length of your hair may result in a need to reschedule or a forfeit of your deposit.
Preparing for Your Appointment:
1. Guests' hair must be taken down and detangled before arrival.
2. Arrive to your appointment with hair free from products and in its natural fall.
3. A fee will be charged if your hair needs to be undone beyond a standard detangling. Your stylist will access this fee at the time of your service.
4. If a takedown or extensive detangling service is needed (often after braids or extensions), please add this service to your booking at the time that you schedule your appointment.
Consultations:
1. First time guests should book a consultation before booking a service unless the service being booked includes a consultation in the written service description.
2. Consultation fees will not be deducted from later services.
Membership Subscriptions
1. To subscribe to a Membership, visit https://TextureBeautyBar.as.me/Membership.
2. Bi-Weekly Memberships are to be purchased monthly at the time that you schedule your first appointment of the month. A month is considered 30 days.
3. The second appointment must take place within the following two weeks.
4. There will be no refunds available if the second appointment is not scheduled within two weeks of the initial appointment, however, there may be an additional grace period of an additional week.
5. If the second bi-weekly appointment is not made with in the following two weeks, a $45 credit may be applied to a scheduled service with in 60 days of the initial service.
6. The credit will no longer be available if an appointment is not made with in 60 days of the initial service.
Lateness:
1. We understand that unforeseen emergencies occur. However, please be courteous by calling or texting us as soon as possible to determine whether the stylist may accommodate the change in time, (404) 9080-2152.
2. Texture Beauty Bar reserves the right to cancel services and associated add on services if guest has not arrived within 15 minutes after the scheduled appointment time.
3. Deposits will be held for each service and associated add on service that are canceled due to lateness.
4. Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable on the day of the scheduled appointment and cannot be applied to your future appointment.
5. Repeat lateness or rescheduling due to lateness may prevent the ability to schedule future appointments.
Cancellation:
1. Please cancel appointments with in 48 hrs. of your scheduled appointment time. Deposits will be held for each service and associated add on service that are canceled with in less than 48 hours of the appointment time and cannot be applied to your future appointment.
2. Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable on the day of the scheduled appointment and cannot be applied to your future appointment.
3. NO CALL/NO SHOW will be charged the total service fee, to the card on file.
4. Should the client's payment not process for a fee, an invoice will be sent to the email on file. Guest will not be able to reserve future appointments until any unprocessed fees are paid.
5. Repeat cancellations with in 48 hours of scheduled appointments and NO CALL/NO SHOWs may prevent the ability to schedule future appointments.
Payment:
1. We accept Paypal and Credit card payments. We do not accept Cash, Cash-App, Money Order nor Checks.
2. Tips may be received in Cash, by Cash App and Venmo at the stylist’s discretion.
Media:
1. The salon is a video and audio recorded space.
2. We love to showcase our work so that the world can see it. Guests have the right to verbally request that photography/videography not be shared on social media.
3. We ask that you do not film, take photographs, or FaceTime while in the shop without permission from management for the protection of our clientele, our staff, and our methodology.
Service Guarantee:
1. We strive for excellence in all our services, we ask that guest verbally articulate concerns regarding their style prior to leaving the salon. We are unable to address/ rectify concerns once the client has left our salon.
2. If you have any other concerns, please inform us within 72 hours, and we will do our best to rectify the situation.
By scheduling an appointment with Texture Beauty Bar, you acknowledge and agree to adhere to our salon policies. I acknowledge that the salon is a video and audio recorded space. I grant permission to the Styling Firm Studio, Curl Definition and its subsidiary to use my image and likeness in digital, print and media form for educational and marketing purposes.
